A famous author decided to work with the publisher Twin Falls

A new bookstore recently opened in downtown Twin Falls called DAP. It comes from Di Angelo Publishing, a local publishing house that has been around for 14 years. Now, the DAP owner has announced a major project with famed author RL Stine.

Sequoia Schmidt, the owner and creator of DAP announced on her Facebook page that after years of trying to get him involved, she was finally able to contact him and get him to agree to work on a project with her and her publishing house. .

R. L. Stine as author

RL Stine is famous for his “Goosebumps” and “Fear Street” series of books. Many of his books have been adaptations of films and television series. There were three “Fear Street” movies on Netflix during the Halloween season. Every kid in the 90s and early 2000s remembers reading the Goosebumps series and watching the show based on each of its books when they got home from school. The man is an amazing author and I can’t wait to see what project he turns out to be. He is the best-selling author of children’s books in the history of publishing. Wow! And it’s just going to keep selling and growing.

DAP Publishing works with Stine

Basically, the story is about resilience. Schmidt got Stine to agree to meet, have lunch, and work on a project with her after a lot of perseverance. Apparently, she had been trying to get in touch with Stine for some time and even went to a signing session to see if she could get him on a project with her. She had even tried to have lunch with him 3 times in New York, where he had refused all three. Finally, he agreed to a one hour lunch with her where he finally agreed to work on a project with her. Perseverance, kindness and good intentions are essential.

There is not much information about the project at the moment, but as soon as we have more information, we will update you. I can’t wait to see what it will bring.
