Best New World Arch Buildings

In this guide, we will discuss the best new world arch constructions. The bow is a very powerful weapon, capable of inflicting a lot of damage from a distance. It also relies on taking as little damage as possible, as you won’t have much protection and will be using light armor.

Best New World Arch Buildings

For ranged fighters, the bow is a great weapon choice. And if you choose the arc and skills that we give you, you will probably have one of the best versions to integrate in PvP and PvE.

The arcs we are looking for are those at 370 points. Not only do they have high damage, but they provide other boosts and buffs that really help our build.

The arc we are looking for is called the Cave Ranger Defense.

Single target damage arc build

This build is designed to give you at least 2500+ damage against enemies on a single hit of your bow. Looking at the equipment, we are using fairly standard equipment for this:

  • Priest’s Reinforced Syndicate Scrivener Headgear
  • Reinforced Syndicate Scrivener of the brigand
  • Reinforced Syndicate Scrivener Priest’s Hand Covers
  • Priest’s Syndicate Reinforced Scrivener Leggings
  • Priest Syndicate’s Reinforced Scrivener Shoes

Strengths

  • Good damage yield for single targets.
  • Easily keep enemies at bay
  • Good evasion skills

Weaknesses

  • Not great for crowd control.
  • Tend to become difficult if enemies are surrounding you and your abilities are on cooldown
  • Cannot take a lot of damage, it’s more about avoiding damage

Arc Mastery Skills

There are two skill trees for bows, the marksman and the hunter. We will gradually be removing skills from both trees to help us hone our damage build.

We get the following skills in order:

  • (Skirmisher) Evade Shot: Moves you away from danger after each shot
  • (Skirmisher) Evasive Knockback: Causes you to escape the shot to stagger your opponents
  • (Skirmisher) Evasion Tactics: 25% damage bonus after the roll. You’ll be riding a lot, why not get a buff along the way
  • (Hunter) Penetrating Shot: Passes through opponents up to 100 yards and deals 150% damage
  • (Hunter) Finishing Shot: You deal 20% more damage to enemies, stacking with evasion tactics
  • (Hunter) Rapid fire: 3 consecutive shots and each shot is staggered. We take this temporarily
  • (Hunter) Long Range: 20% more damage to opponents 10 yards or more. Stacks with other bonuses
  • (Hunter) Aim True: 30% more damage for heavy attack arrows. Total bonus damage stack is 90% when done right
  • (Hunter) Opening Strike: Gives 20% more damage to enemies in full health, good for your opening attacks
  • (Hunter) Arrow Range: Increases the distance before the arrow is negatively affected by gravity
  • (Hunter) Surprise Attack: 20% more damage to enemies you haven’t attacked over 10 seconds
  • (Hunter) Bulls Eye: Increases critical chance.
  • (Hunter) Concussion: 20% more damage on a headshot and 50% chance to get your arrow back
  • (Skirmisher) Poison Shot: A poison arrow that creates a cloud of poison around the point of impact
  • (Skirmisher) Archer’s Speed: Gain haste for 10 seconds when using your bow
  • (Skirmisher) Infected Arrow: Increases poison damage
  • (Skirmisher) Combat Precaution: Increases debuff time
  • (Skirmisher) Mark: 10% more damage to enemies with your debuffs

Secondary weapon skills

The Rapier secondary weapon we need is, again, the 370 gear score one. These can be found in farming in Amarin. Not only do they have high damage, but they provide other boosts and buffs that really help our build.

In the skill tree for this, simply get all of the Grace skill tree. And take that Gust of the Blood skill tree. The blood tree is not as important to us as it relies primarily on bleeding, and that is not what we are looking for in this version.

While the skill tree of grace has the Evade skill and a lot of good liabilities. This is because we will not be trying to engage the enemy in melee, we have to be far away and use our bow.

Arrow and its passives help eliminate opponents and quick moves. The skill tree of grace is all about maneuverability and that’s the key aspect of our build here.

And finally, Response and its liabilities, Activate a defensive stance where an attacker will be stunned for 1 second, giving you time to escape or finish him off. Progress through the tree to finally win Momentum, the last skill of the tree.

Attributes

We recommend that you put as many points as possible in Dexterity, this will be the main attribute for us in this build. As that defines our damage, but putting a few points in the constitution will also help your survivability.

Crowd control arch construction

Basically most of the same stuff as above, but let’s take a look at how skills stack up differently. The goal of this version would be to deal with small groups, instead of dealing an insane amount of damage to a single target.

This build also focuses more on survivability while using your bow as your primary weapon and keeping a spear out for anyone who gets too close and then escapes from a safe distance.

Strengths

  • Good crowd control.
  • Easy getaways
  • Adds more survivability to Bow builds.

Weaknesses

  • Not so high DPS
  • Does not have the ability to effectively take down a target

Arc Mastery Skills

For this construction, we take the following skills in order:

  • (Skirmisher) Evade Shot: Moves you away from danger after each shot
  • (Skirmisher) Evasive Knockback: Causes you to escape the shot to stagger your opponents
  • (Skirmisher) Evasion Tactics: 25% damage after the roll. You’ll be riding a lot, why not get a buff along the way
  • (Skirmisher) Poison Shot: A poison arrow that creates a cloud of poison around the point of impact
  • (Skirmisher) Infected Arrow: Increases poison damage
  • (Skirmisher) Go the Distance: 15% Haste for 5 seconds after dodging shot
  • (Skirmisher) Combat Precaution: Increases debuff time
  • Penetrating Shot (Hunter): The arrow cuts through opponents within 100 yards and deals 150% damage
  • (Hunter) Blood Soaked Arrow: Increases penetrating shot damage
  • (Hunter) Deep Strike: 20% more damage to opponents 20 yards or more. Stacks with other bonuses
  • (Hunter) Bulls Eye: increases critical chance
  • (Hunter) Finishing Shot: You deal 20% more damage to enemies, stacking with evasion tactics.
  • (Hunter) Unbreakable Focus: 20% less damage while aiming.
  • (Hunter) Hawkeye: Restores 10% of the damage dealt to health for headshots.
  • (Hunter) Concussion: 20% more damage on a headshot and 50% chance to get your arrow back

Secondary weapon skills

We need crowd control, and the best weapon we can think of is the spear.

In the Zoner skill tree we start with Javelin, then progress down his passives, up to skill Refreshing precision. We don’t need the other passives as we will be using the spear primarily at close range.

This essentially allows for more damage and lag. Then we take To sweep up, which helps us sweep away the enemies around us, take them down in the process and move on to its passives.

From the Impaler tree, we start by taking passives in the upper half before moving on to Arch kick, which is a close range kick, which stuns your opponent. We get his two passives and then work on the cooldowns by getting the Aggressive maneuvers.

Attributes

Whereas in the previous version we mainly focused on dexterity because we wanted to be able to deal as much damage as possible.

This build will however focus on Dexterity as a primary attribute, then constitution as a secondary attribute. So let’s say that a fraction of 75-25% of most of your available attribute points should be put into those attributes.
