Mila Kunis passed Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday to promote his Netflix movie, The luckiest girl in the world. Kunis had done all the fittings for her appearances in Los Angeles before arriving in New York – where Jimmy Kimmel was recording as part of a special week in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, not all of Kunis’ clothes made it to her dressing room.
“I show up here,” Kunis told Kimmel. “I open my garment bag to put in this dress and these shoes but there is no bra, no underwear and no socks. Why I didn’t wear those clothes either is a whole other story.
The costume department didn’t have enough time to find her replacements for everything she was missing, so she had to rely on her team’s support, literally.
“So I’m currently wearing my publicist bra, my manager’s socks, and your costume department found some children’s leggings from Children’s Place that we cut into underwear.” Kunis revealed. “I wear children’s underwear.”
Kunis wore a see-through dress, so making an appearance sans underwear on national television wasn’t really in the cards. Not only did she take the underwear fiasco in stride, but then she used it to berate the public for booing her opinions on pizza.
“LA’s got perfectly good pizza, guys,” she said as boos came from the audience. “Hold on. You know what? You know what? I’m wearing kid’s underwear for you!”
Jimmy Kimmel Live broadcast weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
