This year, Thermore is launching EVOdown®made of 100% recycled fibers of PET bottles. Thermore EVOdown® bridges the gap between loose fibers and traditional padding, providing the ultra-soft hand and luxurious drape blown fiber in rolled form. This hybrid technology – as consumers like to call it – allows you to increase productivity and ease of manufacture.
In fact, EVOdown® consists of millions of free fibers encapsulated by two containing outer layers, making it the world‘it is the only product of this type. Consumers will appreciate the lightweight and silky touch of garments made with EVOdown®, as well as its unbeatable easy maintenance.
EVOdown® Recycled is another step towards sustainability for the Milanobased in New York, which has now converted more than 97% of its turnover in fully or partially recycled fiber insulation (based on actual sales figures). This brings Thermore closer than ever to a exclusively sustainable product offering; and while the industry talks about future plans and roadmaps, Thermore is already on the finish line being almost completely sustainable. It’s no surprise: sustainability has always been part of Thermore’s DNA, as the Group pioneer in the use of recycled fibers in the early 80s and subsequently mastered.
