The mobile app helps eliminate the hassle of finding trucks to evacuate products from any location, eliminates the complex manual process and added costs of working with intermediaries provides direct access to TDOs provided by the owner or cargo agent, and works in conjunction with the electronic call system, the Eto application, another company product, to facilitate the planning, grouping and movement of trucks at the entrance and out of ports.

“Our heart at Trucks Transit Parks is to help businesses and partners achieve maximum operational excellence, save time and increase revenue.

“Our new digital product, Tafiyah, is well positioned to do just that. With Tafiyah, businesses looking for trucks to evacuate their cargo from their preferred locations are seamlessly connected to nearby available empty trucks that can perform this evacuation,” said TTP Managing Director, Mr. Jama Onwubuariri.

Speaking further, he explained that “our main objective is to create a win-win situation for all our stakeholders while ensuring the operational efficiency of the sector”.

“With Tafiyah, there will be fewer idling trucks on the road, in parks and other waiting areas, and traders don’t have to look too far to get trucks to transport their products.

“Using Tafiyah, with a search on their phones, freight owners/shippers can find the right type of truck, with the right type of capacity, and agree on a preferred delivery date and preferred destination.

“They will also benefit from direct access between the cargo owner and the carrier to discuss terms and prices,” Onwubuariri added.

Commenting on innovation at TTP, Mr. Onwubuariri said, “Innovation is key to our work at TTP, so we are constantly looking for new ways to improve our customer experiences and the overall party experience. stakeholders in the maritime sector.

“Everything we do as a technology company, including the design of our solutions, is customer-centric.

“It is from this foundation that we have worked over the past few months to develop Tafiyah, an innovative solution that would help companies in this sector achieve more, and we are optimistic that it will open up more opportunities for business growth for our customers.
