It all started with a black pleated tennis skirt. From my very first purchase, I was sold on Halara’s fast turnaround on shipping and affordable leisure. I would call Halara a sportswear brand first, but the moniker “fashionable staples brand” follows closely behind. And that versatility is exactly what sets it apart. Although many Halara styles look like any other brand of crop tops and mini skirts, most Halara styles are also meant to be worn in the gym.

From skirts with shorts and sweat-wicking dresses to leggings with pockets and double-lined tops, Halara is a master of on-trend fashion with an activewear twist. In addition, everything is available in a huge selection of colors and an extensive range of sizes.

Almost everything from Halara is complementary in design so you can easily create mix-and-match ensembles with leggings, skirts and tops.

You can never go wrong with a pair of black leggings, but these are far from average. The Cloudful Crossover Pocket Solid Legging are part nylon and part spandex, stretching far and wide in hot yoga or pilates classes. No matter how I bend over, I don’t need to worry about my underwear sticking out. The leggings feature Halara’s Cloudful fabric, which is thick, soft and stretchy for maximum flexibility and designed to withstand heavy wear and tear. They also have pockets big enough to slip your phone in for long walks around the neighborhood or trips to the gym.

Like leggings, Cloudful Cropped Yoga Sports Top has a criss-cross design at the hem that accentuates the waist. If you’re comfortable showing a little skin, this top might be the one for you. It also has thumbholes on the sleeves, so it’s great for keeping your hands warm in cold weather.

Halara also makes joggers and casual pieces to wear on days off from the gym.

Just in time for cooler weather, these cargo joggers are a comfy spin on the low-rise baggy pants we’ve seen all year. I hooked it up Relaxed Mid-Rise Cargo Jogger Pants With Drawstring And Multi Pockets in a chocolate colour, and I’m not sure if it’s the six pockets or the adjustable drawstring waist that I like the most. If brown isn’t your favorite, cargo joggers come in 14 other colors and come in sizes XS to 4X. Even in my usual small size, they are a little baggy, as cargos should. Thanks to the drawstring waistband, you can get by with a size up or down.

Although these are considered a jogger, the material is similar to a thin windbreaker jacket. During the colder months, I would suggest layering with a cozy sweater or long jacket.

It’s been nearly impossible not to scroll through social media without seeing this dress.

There was a time when I couldn’t scroll on TikTok without seeing this tennis dress. Of its 33 shades, I’ve seen it in pink glaze the most, so of course I had to jump on the wave. The Everyday Cloudful 2-in-1 Flared Activity Dress – Wannabe is lined, and while the built-in bra provides more coverage than it supports, the criss-cross straps are adjustable for a little extra security. Like most of Halara’s skirts and dresses, underneath are shorts with symmetrical pockets for storing small items. Although this dress is designed for tennis or on the go, I love wearing it just because it’s cute.

Halara pieces work with just about any outfit as they are made from high performance fabrics yet inspired by fashionable silhouettes.

This short tank top is the perfect example of a Halara top you’ll want to wear outside of the gym. The double strap is a simple touch that leads to its criss-cross backless design. The neckline is U-shaped, which leaves just enough room to layer necklaces to enhance the top with accessories. It also has built-in cups and fits perfectly around the chest, so I didn’t have to worry about a pesky bra. But, if I wanted to wear it to the gym, I could easily move around and still feel supported by the compression. Of everything I’ve received from Halara, this is what I wear the most. I pair it with loose cardigans in cooler weather and allow it to be the tank top it is in the summer.

The bottom line

I knew I was already sold on Halara, but my second purchase definitely confirmed what I already thought. I love that each item comes in multiple colors and sizes so you can choose exactly what your wardrobe is missing, and it’s affordable enough to double up on the styles you love the most. The styles are versatile in design so they can be worn on the treadmill or on the go, delivery is fast and the prices are absolutely reasonable.
